Warehouse Packer/ Warehouse Worker

Inspect, stack and package finished products.

Responsibilities:

• Work safely at all times, consistently following company safety policies and wearing required PPE.
• Maintain situational awareness on the production floor and in the assigned work area and notify a Supervisor or Manager immediately of any safety concerns.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow quality specifications when packaging product, ensuring correct counts and that appropriate packaging materials are being used.
• Inspect product for flaws, pull defective items and notify the Quality team.
• Notify a Supervisor when machines are jammed or malfunctioning.
• Consistently adhere to all procedures related to Food Safety and Food Defense.
• Participate in and successfully complete required monthly computer-based and classroom-style safety training modules.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of basic arithmetic: counting, addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
• Strong hand/eye coordination.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, reach and regularly lift up to 30 pounds, with occasional required lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work overtime.
• Work environment is a typical manufacturing environment with seasonal heat/cold and sound related to machine operation and maintenance and facility repair activities.
• Must be able to stand approximately 95 percent of work time.

Schedule depends on production needs but typically runs Mon-Fri (some weekend availability may be required)

1st – 7am-3pm $15.25/hr

2nd -3pm-11pm $16.00/hr

3rd -11pm-7am $16.50/hr
