Job Description

Role: Senior Waterproofing Estimator – Commercial Construction

Location: Dallas, TX | Full-Time

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 + Profit Sharing

Some companies bid jobs. Others build legacies.

We’re looking for a Senior Estimator who knows the difference. This is a chance to join a respected commercial contractor with deep Texas roots — a company built on integrity, quality work, and relationships that last. When it comes to waterproofing, the work isn’t just about pricing a scope. It’s about protecting investments, solving problems before they happen, and making sure clients sleep at night knowing their buildings are covered.

If you’ve got the experience, the attention to detail, and the pride in your craft to lead the estimating process, this is your seat at the table.

What You’ll Do

  • Take the lead on estimating commercial waterproofing projects — new builds and remedial.
  • Conduct site visits, field observations, and inspections.
  • Prepare detailed, accurate estimates and proposals using digital takeoff tools.
  • Review plans, specs, and scopes with clients and internal teams.
  • Mentor junior estimators and collaborate with preconstruction teammates.
  • Lead hand-off meetings to ensure smooth execution with operations.
  • Represent the company at pre-bid meetings, client education sessions, and industry events.
  • Manage change order pricing, verify scopes, and maintain relationships from concept to handoff.

What You Bring

  • Four-year degree preferred OR 5+ years in construction with at least 2+ years estimating.
  • Expertise in waterproofing systems and building envelope scopes.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, codes, materials, moisture control, and wind standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction documents.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle 3–5 estimates a week without dropping the ball.
  • Strong communicator, problem-solver, and relationship-builder.
  • Valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization.
  • Able to access job sites (ladders, scaffolding, stairs).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Why Join This Team?

This isn’t just a paycheck — it’s a place to grow your career with people who have your back.

  • Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 base + profit sharing (earning potential $110,000+)
  • Health Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement: 401(k) with company match
  • Perks: Paid vacation, paid holidays, company vehicle or allowance (depending on role)
  • Culture: Supportive leadership, team-first approach, and real advancement opportunities

The Bottom Line

This is a role for an Estimator who takes pride in doing things right, values strong relationships, and wants to be part of a contractor that treats people like family.
