An opportunity is available for a dedicated General Education Teacher to work with kindergarten students at an elementary school in Quincy, MA. This is a full-time contract position spanning two terms: ASAP through the end of the school year, and March 16th through the end of the school year. The role focuses on teaching as a Stages Teacher with an emphasis on Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) skills. Collaboration with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is essential to support students by implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Candidates should have experience or a strong interest in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to foster students emotional and behavioral development. Key Responsibilities: Deliver daily instruction and support tailored to kindergarten students unique needs Implement SEL-focused curriculum and develop positive classroom environments Collaborate closely with BCBAs and other special education staff to effectively apply BIPs and IEPs Utilize CBT strategies to promote positive student behavior and coping skills Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Qualifications and Desired Experience: Certified General Education Teacher with experience in early childhood or elementary education Knowledge of special education processes and behavioral intervention plans Experience or interest in CBT and SEL methodologies Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners academic and social growth within a supportive educational environment.
