Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Activate Class

  • Recruit and develop a volunteer team to manage logistics for Activate.
  • Lead the Activate experience at the campus.
  • Connect with people to sign up and follow up with them on their next steps.
Adult Ministries
  • Oversee and support all adult related ministries ranging from Men’s, Women’s, CR and others.
  • Provide training and development for these ministry leaders.
  • Coordinate with campus staff and ministry leaders for any logistical needs.
Small Groups
  • Be the point person for our small group ministry and all it pertains.
  • Implement a plan and process to recruit host and community leaders.
  • Train, support, and care for host and community leaders.
  • Run host gatherings and small group campaigns.
  • Create and maintain accurate stats on small group growth and health.
  • Create a strategic plan to grow small groups in health and number.
  • Oversee the small patio expression each weekend.
  • Serve as point person for all campaigns related to small groups.
  • Assist Campus pastor with the promotional strategy for all campaigns.
Campus Health and Leadership
  • With the Campus Pastor, provide leadership for leadership development, planning, and evaluation of individual base plans and activities.
  • Provide pastoral support at weekend services.
  • Provide support to volunteers serving the weekend.
  • Always be ready to help wherever is needed.
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
  • Ability to teach and communicate core biblical truths effectively
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to encourage and motivate others toward growth and engagement (e.g., serving, connecting)
  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including email, Google Workspace, and social media platforms
  • Experience choosing and equipping leaders
  • Experience identifying projects and choosing materials
  • Experience identifying partners for ministry
  • Process creation for participant and leader involvement
  • Community Service
  • College Preferred
  • Seminary Preferred

Saddleback Church’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity and budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. The estimated pay rate for this position is $71,000-$73,000 annually, depending on experience. We will provide a pay rate within our salary structure that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job. The posted wage range does not guarantee a specific job offer.
