Job title: Delivery Truck Driver

Your workplace location: Rumney, NH

Job type: Full-time- TEMPORARY POSITION

Reports to: File Shop Supervisor

Job description – Your mission :

The Delivery Driver is accountable for safe and efficient operation of the delivery truck as well as high-quality work product in the file shop, ensuring saws are picked up and delivered in a timely and efficient manner to support sawmill production at multiple locations in Maine and NH. You will execute daily deliveries & pickups, coordinate truck service and daily routine maintenance of the truck and perform quality work related to sharpening of chipper knives. You will perform all work in accordance with company values and objectives.

Responsibilities – What you will do :

• Make daily deliveries and pick ups in an efficient and safe manner to production facilities
• Sharpening of chipper knives
• Track saw inventories and supply levels ensuring timely deliveries meet production demands.
• Perform daily inspections of the truck and coordinate any necessary service appointments
• Keep Truck clean and fluids full daily
• Report any incidents or infractions immediately to the Human Resources Department in alignment with company standards.
• Various Documentation
• Represent the company professionally with internal teams, partners, and vendors.
• Keep all credentials current at all times
• All other duties as assigned

• Timely & Efficient Deliveries
• Effectiveness of equipment maintenance
• Contribution to operational performance through workflow optimization and downtime reduction of the file truck
• Safety

Requirements, experience and skills :

• Must possess current DOT physical card
• Must have valid drivers license
• Clean and safe driving record
• Strong Communication Skills
• Ability to effectively schedule deliveries with input from facilities
• Ability to lift a minimum of 60lbs
