*Truck Driver Responsibilities:*
As a Class A Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting finished pallets from our Staunton, VA mill to our valued customers. Your daily responsibilities include:
* Safely operating your assigned truck to deliver products on time.
* Inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues and ensuring safety.
* Completing an average 9-hour workday (Monday to Friday).
* Accurately recording miles driven and delivery times using a driver manifest.
* Complying with truck driving laws, regulations, and company policies.
* Maneuvering trucks into loading and unloading positions.
* Verifying delivery instructions and ensuring smooth operations.
* Reporting defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
*Qualifications:*
* Valid *Class A CDL* (Commercial Driver’s License).
* *No automatic restrictions* on your CDL license.
* At least *1 year of driving experience*.
* Clean driving record with *no recent violations*.
* Ability to adapt to unexpected situations such as traffic or weather.
* Willingness to undergo background checks, drug tests, and a road test.
