About the Project\nSepal is conducting a qualitative research study to define benchmarks of professional excellence in aerospace engineering. We are looking for experienced professionals to contribute their expertise through structured documentation of their work, creation of domain-specific screening criteria, and development of high-quality case studies.\n\nSelected contributors will help shape an industry-informed framework for evaluating aerospace engineering expertise, with a focus on real-world practices, decision-making, and engineering judgment.\n\n-- Timeline: Now through December 29th\n-- Commitment: 40–100 total hours\n-- Begins with a paid 2–4 day work trial\n-- Fully remote and flexible schedule\n\n✅ Ideal Participants May Hold Titles Such As:\n - Aerospace Engineer\n - Aeronautical Engineer\n - Flight Systems Engineer\n - Aircraft or Avionics Engineer\n - Propulsion Systems Engineer\n - Spacecraft Engineer \n - Systems or Test Engineer (Aerospace applications)\n\n📌 Requirements\n - Minimum 4 years of full-time professional experience in aerospace engineering or a closely related field\n - Fluent in English\n - Currently residing in the United States\n - Access to a computer with stable internet and video conferencing capabilities\n - Comfortable with remote work tools (messaging, video calls, uploading documents)\n - Able to work independently and follow written instructions\n\n🧠 What You’ll Do\n - Share your professional journey and background\n - Help define field-specific evaluation questions used in technical hiring or vetting\n - Document at least one substantial project or problem you've worked on, including context, approach, challenges, and outcomes\n - Participate in short feedback or calibration sessions as needed\n\n💸 Compensation & Logistics\n - $78–$175 per hour, depending on expertise and relevance, with bonuses for key contributions\n - Paid bi-weekly based on approved, tracked hours\n - Fully remote and async-friendly — work at your own pace, within flexible deadlines\n
