This position will be located at our Office in Stevens Point, WI in a hybrid work model and is not a fully remote opportunity.

What You'll Do
As a Claims Actuary, you can expect to:
Independently lead the development of new Claims actuarial tools, leveraging Claims, Actuarial, and Analytics resources across the organization.
Apply and recommend changes to actuarial and statistical methods and procedures.
Identify trends and changes in Claims performance requiring further research or analysis.
Summarize and analyze trend observations, analyze impact on profit and growth objectives and make recommendations when appropriate.
Communicate results of analysis to leadership throughout the organization. You’ll be responsible for both the effective communication of results and producing supporting documentation for executive management.
What it Takes
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience with an emphasis in mathematics or actuarial science.
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
Membership as an Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong financial and analytical skills to lead, communicate, and implement results of actuarial analyses
